I have just purchased 4 RED MALBOROUGH put 2 in each tank,water peram fine but would like to give them the best start they can get as i would like to breed from them Should i treat them for worm fluke and icky etc and if so could you please advise me as to what to purchase.

Just watch them for a day or 2 as they settle in, if after 3 days they're not eating well I'd worm them. if they do start eating give them a week to adjust to their new enviroment and then worm them. i wouldn't buy anything to treat of ick id just add 2 teaspoons of salt per 40L to their tank water (again will help them settle). wouldnt hurt to have some prazi and levimenisol on had either for when you do worm them. I believe Andrew Soh uses metro as a conditioning treatment when introducing new fish, may be shoot him a pm.

i use evaporated sea salt from coles (the natural stuff) I use to but aquarium salt from a pet shop till they told me that they use the coles stuff.
