nice pic Fish_R the blue irridescent is really nice.

Just curious what are the differences between and normal blue ram and a german?

thx guys
it took lots of pics to finally get them good ones lol...
the largest males are about 3" Eric, it's a bit hard to get pics of the females as there a bit skittish.

my Germans are a lot more colourful silkie they also have more pronounced black dots and the Iridecent blue
goes closer to the gills...

Very nice Rob! Great pictures too! Do you notice your males having a nice red color to their faces as well as the the top fin on them? I can see the red on the top fin (Not sure..is that the dorsal? Hahaha) Mine seem to have some nice red to their face and the top fin

My female isnt gonna make it too much longer...soon enough I will be down to just the one male :(

Great work! Keep it up :D

I should try to snap a pic of my male when I get home today....the whole front of his face looks red! i really like it....maybe its just the fish...I dunno

The female was constantly getting chased around the tank by the male and then one day developed a big white clump of stuff over her eye

http://www.discusforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13264

I dont think she is gonna make it much longer, she has a lot of black to her face, and the thing over her eye hasnt gone away...she still eats tho

Erk, sounds like eye fungus try protozin by waterlife, you might need 2 or even 3 treatmnents. i believe in the us you have acess to other "paint on" fungal meds that work even better

Here are two pics....not very good quality, and with all my issues, you have to ignore the algae! haha

They are the same, but one is "auto-corrected" and one isnt, and they are both like that, so there is a total of four pics

Thanks

I would say in person they look like the "corrected" ones....but man, they really look like crappy quality compared to yours! haha

Oh well...I will try again sometime

i can make mine look better with a bit of a touch up, but it's not a true reflection of my fish...

Wow rob  .....how do you upload your pics like that? your quality shots look so nice....guess the tripod is the way to go....i didnt mean anything bad as far as the touching up goes....your fish look very nice.

my pics are so small looking

Thanks for the compliment about my guy....he is the only one left :(

Hey Eric
my pics are usually 800x600 and usually around 150k
if there over 128k i use photobucket.com to upload em too them just copy the [IMG] link to here. u dont want to go much over 800x600 though or it will stretch the page on here nad it can be a pain to scroll across all the time.

i know u didnt mean anything bad, i was just showing what a bit of touching up can do :) i been watching and reading lots of photoshop tutorials lately lol...

P.S. i didnt use the tripod for them pics...
