hi all, hope someone can help me, i have a discus which I have noticed has withdrawn itself from the rest of the fish.
it does not eat and now looks very thin(anorexic like). does anyone know what this could be?
I aslo have 6 other discus in with this one who all seem fine.
The fish does not seem to have any parasites or anything that is visible to naked eye.

Bit hard too give a diagnosis with that discription, so too use something that wont hurt try epsom salts. It works as a laxitive for the fish and normally increses their apitite after treatment..

thanks for the reply guys, I went to see Kev at SLS at lunchtime and I think it may be velvet. I'm going to try the medication for velvet and see if there is any change.
sorry for my vague description.
thanks
