Hello everyone,

I have a 55g (48lx13wx20h) tank and plan to keep live plants mostly requiring low to mod. lighting conditions. What would be a good color temperture for the plants and discus?

Also I've heard for tanks larger than 50g it is a good idea to put a colored background in the tank to hide the wall the tank is against. For example using a black background creates depth and gives the fish a sense of security. What does everybody here suggest about that? Thanks
