Have been doing it little by little for 2-3months, finally, it is done to my expectation. Shame that spaces in Hong Kong is pricy , to you guys, this may be only be a joke! But what the hack, let's have a look at what a fish room would look like in Hong Kong!

Love your setup and also your dedication.

I live in a Townhouse so I can relate to the issue of space...

You have handled the problem extremely well....Love the racks!
I assume they are stainless steel?

Electrical goods should be fine - as long as they're from reputable brands (properly tested).

The only concern is to change the plug, and loosing the warranty to the good.

Filters would be heavy/bulky to carry though.

Looks like ADA tanks (can see the stickers on some of them) so im assuming its Amazonia soil ?
Would help with the pH for the apistos and the plants.
Love the setup, it really does look good.
Wonder how many powerpoints are used....

Sorry for the be-lated reply, that's my CRS tank, the soil are a Japanese brand made specially for CRS (sorry, I don't know its name in English), which has a ph 6.2, kH1 and gH1. It is pretty much the same with ADA black soil, however it doesn't cloud the water and low in nutrient for plants and cost 3 times more than ADA!!!!

In the foreground, I add a layer of ADA black soil powder, for the need of the plants!

I do use ADA soil on the tanks on the window sill, they are not so cloudy, aren't they? :D

Hi Roy, that's what I heard from my friends too about the cloudiness of ADA soil, however, the powder type are fine.

CRS is Crystal Red Shrimp!

Roy

I use individual filter for each tank.
Small tanks and 24" on the window sill
I am using Dazs 100, which is made in Taiwan.
Max current flow about 300l/h, with filter media,
obviously, its function decline,
and I drill holes on the rain-pipe to make the current more suitable.

Adoketa tank - Tetra EX 90

CRS tank - Tetra EX120 X 2

Water change - I made a outflow pipe under the ground for water-out. Water-in via a pre-filter system directly into the tanks.
