Has anyone used or is using the PPS-Pro method for fertilizing their aquarium. I am just about to run out of Seachem products and was thinking of changing to this method. Does anyone have any good or bad points for this method before I jump in and make an aglae mess in my tank.

Nope no bad points from me about doing your own fert mixes. I have seachem products in the fridge that arent even opened yet thats how confident i am of the the fert mix. I was adding 15ml x 3 a week but started to get algea so im back to 1 x week now and the all the algea has gone. Im also using hydrogrow tablets once a week for plants like azamon swords etc. Just make sure you keep in the fridge and give it a good shake when your about to use it.

Axl,

Why do the Seachem ferts need to be in the fridge?

Dave.
