I purchased these guys a little while back.

I just recently removed the black back drop and found an instant improvemenet in the general attitude. Also found that the darkening of the fins is going away.

They have been eating frozen worm and live brime shrimp daily. No colour enhancer pellets or anything like that so im very pleased with the colouring. They truly are a bright contrast in the tank.

Those considering buying extremes RGD should really go and check them out they are awsum fish to look at.

Thanks guys.

not a problem we live and learn by asking.

my understanding ,,and putting it simply

RGD - brown based , no peppering

melons - pigeon based and you can get peppering.
