Hi all. For my initial setup it looks like I am going to be running approximately 10-12 sponge filters once I spearate my first group of fry from their parents. rather than buy individual smaller air pumps for each tank or every other tank I am thinking of getting a larger one for all. Does anyone have an reccomendations in terms of size. The below maker makes air pumps that can produce anywhere from 20 to 80 liters per minute. I am thinking 20 will be more than plenty initially...am I right?

Hi there,

I run 45-50 sponge filters from one pump. It is the best way to go for filtration in my opinion.

I know have various smaller airpumps as back up. I save energy using the one larger one too; not to mention valuable socket space.
