New ones with basic packs cost $750... some places have specials at around $600... I think it will be some time before they sell at $400 (even on ebay they are more for just the console (new that is)).

Who knows, once the Sony P3 comes out prices may change

It comes with the hard drive that came with it... (will check the box later).

The topspin game wasnt for me... although I did play it a few times and usually got my butt well and truly beaten. If I liked Tennis I would have been happy with it but I am more into racing/driving games

People this is seriously cheap. The network adaptor is $170.00 alone. Total package is about $1200.00 to replace. If i didnt have 1 i would buy it in a snap.

Hi Jack,

That is correct. The wireless feature works well on a home network.

Thanks Ben...

I hate cables, hence the wireless adaptor and wireless controllers.

It does come with a cable and it is till in the box - never been touched

In all honesty for the amount of money I am losing I feel that I should just tuck it away in the cabinet for a rainy day... but... that rainy day seems to never come around. So, instead of it totally going to waste might as well give someone the oppurtunity to have some fun and save some cash.

Is the cable for it really short? Also how much is shipping to Melbourne? Ben do you think i could still use xbox live even if i'm capped?i think i'll prefer the cable because i'm not good at all this networking lol

Now $450 (plus any shipping charges if required)

I will not go any lower so dont bother making any offers as I will consider it an insult. This unit with extras is worth close to if not over $1k.

can you confirm what size the HDD is ?
I know the older models have 10Gig and the current ones are 20Gig.

I cant see it written on the drive or for that matter on the box. I guess I will have to hook it up and see if there is any info in the settings panel.

It was purchased not too long after it was released so that may mean it is the 10G model...
