not sure what to do?

Hi everyone,
I have a pair of b/turks 2yrs old, they have been laying eggs for nearly 12mths now but the eggs don't seem to be fertile. i.e. go white within 24 hrs and get eaten. I also have a female ss so i thought i would swap the females to see if the male is upto the task. They laided eggs within a week of putting them together, same thing happened with the eggs. From everthing i have read here the water quality & maintanence of tanks is good, but my question is could the male be completely infertile or is he still maturing? What is the rough age that males mature?

abit more info on my situation :
eggs are not getting fugus or fuzz on them, have actually watched both females lay eggs with the male & his breeding tube shape is in a small v shape. He runs over the eggs as or just after the females lay.

any chance of some pics of your fish ? side and head on and your breeding tank. could be a small chance that the male is sterile. what are your water parameters, hardness ?
should have matured by now, what are you feeding and how often ?
