UV Ballast

Hi,
Would anyone know if there's a difference between a ballast for a normal fluorescent tube and a UV tube?

I mean, can i use the same ballast on either tube?

I'm guessing that they need to be of the same wattage otherwise it'll change the useful life of the tube.

I think I should be able to use the same ballast since the only difference between the two tubes is that once has that fluorescent coating and the other doesn't but I want to make sure if others agree with my (fuzzy) logic.

I'm sure you're right Dat, UV tubes are just flouro tubes with a diffrent phosporus
