The freezer that I had my bloodworms in broke down for a few days, and my bloodworms defrosted before I could remove them. Im not sure how defrosted they got, but it was enough for the liquid to melt and go EVERYWHERE.

I refroze the worms, and they dont look as "red" as before. The fish still love them though.

Are they still good?

i wouldnt feed them to the fish.
i think that your fish should get the same standarts as you have,
means would you eat defrosted and frozen and defrosted food?

Come to think of it, I have higher standards of food for my fish than for myself.

I would rather make beefheart mix than cook something nice for myself. Even boiling then shelling then mushing up peas is more than I would do for myself!

i have defrosted blood worms many times to add dry foods and other additives to them for my discus and flowerhorn and they have been fine. HOWEVER, i am very carefull when doing so and only defrost them enough to add the ingredients, stir and then straight back into the freezer they go.

if you think they got to the stage where they became warm then throw them out. if they are brown throw them out
