Timeline for Carbon Use

I want to remove meds from my 3ft planted tank.

As well as doing a few waterchanges, I want to add a carbon pad into my 2213 Eheim cannister filter.

How long do I leave it in there for before it has to be removed?

you dan leave it a few days del it will only last 10 days any way , i dont use it but have heard that if you leave it in to long that it will monly put all that it removed back . but i would leave it for a few days. what is the flow rate in your filter and the size of your tank

440 lt/hr on a 3ft tank Scott.

yeah just a few days will do it del it not to big so plenty of water will go though it over a few days hope that helps ( i would say three would do the trick)
