After introducing two new discus and 4 altums into my tank my two big altums have seem to come down with something. Both are breathing very rapidly and heavy and sometimes congregate at the waters surface. I am treating the tank with octazin at the moment but was wondering if i could use meth blue at the same time. There is plenty of oxygen in the water (ie i have airstones and spraybars) and the water condition is fine (been doing water changes 50% nearly every day). ph = 6.7, ammonia = 0, nitrite=0, nitrate=5, temp=30-32 (its a little high but its been this high before during summer and they have been fine). All other fish including discus in the tank are fine and eating well. Does anyone know wot maybe wrong and wot i can do to fix this problem
