JBL substrate

has anyone used the jbl substate and what are your thoughts on it? lfs ha s in stock and am curious. :D

Needed to start uing ferts after 6 or so months as it seemed the nutrients must have been exhausted.

I agree and have the same opinion of laterites etc. Nutrient supply is generaly short lived and for that reason i dont use such products. Pulling up gravel with mixed soils is also a drag especially if you wish to re use the gravel.
