Ph of water

my ph is 6.3 out of the tap and i just did a 50% wc on my tank and the ph has dropped to 5.8 and the kh is around 4. I want to setup my co2 but my ph needs to be higher just wont to no what is the best wayto increase my ph. Bi carb soda????

i suggest aerating you tap water for a day and then checking ph again. If you ph is dropping that much aerate the water for 24 hours first. do your fish get frayed fins after a large water change ??

this is happening on my cichlid tank, im hoping to try my new co2 setup on this tank before i use it on my discus tank
