Tao,
I did talk to Wayne this morning and he told me the following:
He never sold any Red Covers from Hong Kong as his hatchery is in China, he didn't start selling the Red Covers till about 1.5 years ago and he never did ship them to Australia as he doesn't have an export licence to ship them and it has to be issued by the Australian Government.
It would be nice If you could post your full name, approx. date of purchase so that he could make some inquiries in Hong Kong.

brew,
it's 3 years ago and I am not asking for compensation anyway. just want to know are we talking about the same person or not. after that shipment he gave me one more adult male for free, so it's over. it's more important for a good business man to survive and succeed than to satisfy everyone. so i admit he's great breeder and successful business man.

Tao,
I don't think that we are talking about the same person, If it is three years ago that you bought the fish and he never did have any Red Covers for sale, he never did ship to Australia as he doesn't have the special export licence for shipping and his surname is NG.

3 years ago I lived in Shanghai and I bought red cover from this guy in the pic
http://www.waynediscus.com/simpchiv/wng.htm
he sent them from Guang zhou to Shanghai. it cost much cheaper to breed discus in China. So he stayed in Guang zhou more than HK.

Tao or Yeung,
Here are some information that I did gather from overseas.
The Red Cover's that you bought came from a Singapore breeder named Sun, the seller told you that those fish came from Singapore and wasn't bred by the seller. He didn't start selling Red Cover discus till about 1.5 years ago.
The Red Cover's were sold to you for $100.00US each or $800.00RM( China's currency), the sizes were 6" - The cost for each fish was very cheap, it was bought in Singapore and shipped to Hong Kong, Hong Kong to Guangzhou and then from Guangzhou to Shanghai.
1) Those fish were chosen by your friend in Guangzhou and his name was Lai, he chose the most reddish fish of them all and they were shipped to you, after arrival and placed in your tank, you complained that the fish weren't red enough, this person named Lai is not new into discus and he has his own hatchery in China - the fish will not show the true colour after shipment and it will take a few days before the colour returns to normal.
2) another complaint was that those 10 fish received were all females - according to the seller you wanted the most reddish one's, final complain was the last fish sent was the 11th one that it was a male fish it wasn't red enough. Fish were 16 to 20 months old.
The females from this strain of fish are reddish in colour but not the males, and they are more on the brownish side.

10 fish 10 old female is truth, as admitted.
maybe only u think its cheap to buy 10 old female for $100US each.
I don't care who breed them, I only knew who sold them to me. I bought some off bread and I will not complain to the flour factory.
my friend didnt choose, I only ask him to ship some altum together with discus so I can go to airport only once. he only kept Africa cichlid. I kept those ladies more than one year and they never turnt red, because they were too old and milked babies many times before, as they had wrinkle on the body which is from the sucking of fry.
I don't think u r happy be in the middle of this shit, nothing to do with u anyway. Also I just want to let it go. do u mind we stopping this topic?
