Hi guys

Since i went overseas and come back in August i lost one of my discus i think she was the matriarch of the colony... and since her passing the discus have become really private and dont come out for food anymore and pretty much retire in a corner. What can i do to change their behaviour?

I would check your water parameters & increase water changes for a while. Could be they took a beating whilst you were away?

how many fish are in your tank now and what size is it ?

Mine would not come out until I increased the numbers

It not a personality issue with your fish.

Somthing isnt right in your tank

check parameters including PH, ammonia, nitrates.

post a picture, it may assist us.
