Can anyone recommend a carpet plant other than glosso ?

I've been looking online a bit at aquatic-gardeners comps and it seems everyone has glosso, just wondering if you can suggest something different.

I'll be running c02, t5 2x 54watt 10000k tubes, 290litre tank (76 gallons) eco complete substrate.

Thanks

Michael.

Hi Michael, you could try hairgrass, tenellus or dwarf sagittaria (this will grow higher than others, but still looks nice). These don't require as intense lighting as glosso does, but will certainly benefit if given them. Each of these plants look really nice when they fill out, I especially like hairgrass as it looks nice and tidy.

I second that. Go hair grass, looks great and grows fast under good light and co2. Pygmie chain sword can also be used and if available a plant called elocharis cuba (spelling). Check out the pics on ADA web site.
