FYI; it's cheaper to buy 4 x 500mL bottles of Prime than it is to buy the 2L.

- All Pinnacle™ RO Units use the standard Seachem membranes which remove 99% all of impurities including silicates.

- All Pinnacle Units utilize John Guest© high impact poly quickfit fittings. Simply cut the tube square and insert it into the fitting to effect a secure and reliable connection.

- High Performance Filters - each unit contains one carbon pre-filter to ensure long membrane life and one 1 micron sediment filter.

- The pressure gauge on the Pinnacle+ unit means you can always check the pressure of water moving through the membrane.

- Each Pinnacle+ unit contains two carbon pre-filters to ensure long membrane life and one 1 micron sediment filter.

Reverse osmosis, also known as hyper-filtration, is the finest filtration known. This process will allow the removal of particles as small as ions from a solution. Reverse osmosis is used to purify water and remove salts and other impurities in order to improve the color, taste or properties of the fluid. It can be used to purify fluids such as ethanol and glycol, which will pass through the reverse osmosis membrane, while rejecting other ions and contaminants from passing. Reverse osmosis uses a membrane that is semi-permeable, allowing the fluid that is being purified to pass through it, while rejecting the contaminants that remain. Reverse osmosis is capable of rejecting bacteria, salts, sugars, proteins, particles, dyes, and other constituents that have a molecular weight of greater than 150-250 daltons. The separation of ions with reverse osmosis is aided by charged particles. This means that dissolved ions that carry a charge, such as salts, are more likely to be rejected by the membrane than those that are not charged, such as organics. The larger the charge and the larger the particle, the more likely it will be rejected.

FREE SHIPPING is provided on all these units.

Normally most businesses around this time of year are starting to wind up for the year, taking things nice and easy with the silly season fast approaching... not us... we are having too much fun

Most of the Seachem items have been re-priced to the new Christmas special pricing - there are some suweeeeeeeeeet deals to be had, don't miss out.

We are still in the process of getting the Jebo tanks loaded onto the site, along with a range of slimline T8 & T5 lighting fixtures, and tubes.

On top of this we have some great news.

We will be carrying the full range of CaribSea substrates, from the Marine substrates we already have listed, to the very highly acclaimed Eco-Complete.

To celebrate the addition of these great products to the ASA & Xtreme Aquariums inventory we will be offering introductory deals that are out of this world, well maybe that is getting a bit carried away... Let's jut say you will think Santa has priced these himself.
