    Basic breeding setup

    I havn't bought any Discus yet but i plan to. I was just wondering what your basic breeding setup would be?

    Once you have a confirmed pair, a tall 2-3ft tank, a mature sponge filter or 2, bare bottom, and temp set to approx 28c (80-82f) and lots and lots of water changes...

    I placed my tank is a dark room where no one will disturb them, through experience I have noticed that once you disturb the fish, they will eat their eggs and you dont want that. I feed my breeding pairs with livefood, and regular water changes will keep the eggs free from fugis.
