New Canon Compact Cameras with AQUARIUM mode !!!

Canon has released 3 new compact digital cameras that not only feature the low light ISO 1600 mode (which previously has been the domain of expensive DSLR cameras) but also a specific "aquarium" mode design to enable users to shoot through glass better.
The models released with these features are the 10mp Canon G7, The IXUS 900 and the IXUS 850IS.
While these cameras will not offer the performance of a true DSLR they may well offer the first real alternative for users who would like to shoot nice aquarium photos without spending upwards of $1500 on a DSLR and lenses.

    Sounds wonderful Taksan.

Any idea of the price range, and have they already been released, or is that in the future?

the cameras are already available here in the USA. i've had a chance to play with them, nice little cameras. Can't coerce the boss to take one home to test though.
