    Geophagus discussion area

Welcome to this new feature for DiscusForums.com members.

As many know here, I am a big fan of the Geophagus sp. and the same goes for a few others here (nudge Taksan, Ladyred, etc).

Being that the Geo's are from basically the same waterways as our beloved Discus and enjoy the same water parameters I felt it was appropriate to give these guys there own area for discussion.

Any questions, comments or similar on the Eartheaters are more than welcome.

    Welcome...

    Proteus,

I am gettting into the geo's, so think this forum is a great idea. I only have a std 4ft tank with 4 small orange heads, 3 red humps and 2 hecklii. I guess I'll need more tank space in several months time.

By the way, this may seem a stupid question but assuming the fish seem to be doing OK, how do you know when you need more space? Also, does anyone know where you can get any G Geayi?
