Dissolving Prazi Tablets
Can anyone advise me on the best way to dissolve Prazi tablets.
I grind them down as fine as possible and then turn into a paste and add to the tank but there is always a residue left.
Ive read that people dissolve them also in acetone and add it too the tank.
Yesterday i asked a chemist her thoughts and she suggested that the residue was 'fill' material used in the tablet making process and the active ingredient was dissolved so not too worry.
Any thoughts on this

i just disolve mine in a small cup with some tank water, there is a bit of residue but it all comes out with the next water change.

i use one of those bamix thingies.....just mix it up like a cocktail...any harm in that - would it dilute the strength somehow?

It is just filler used to bind the tablet together. Nothing to worry about. The active ingredient will be working just the same.
Never been game to use acetone on my precious fish. I know some people do, but I'm just not game enough.
Gypsy3, whatever works is fine. You can't dilute the strength that way.
