Here is a quick translation of someone who seems to know quit a lot about it:

The best result gives seasalt, but others are doing good aswell.
The solution is best made in a large bucket, use water out of the aquarium with 2% salt (20 gram per liter)
Make sure the salt is complete solved in the water, put an airstone in the water and then the discus, treatment will take between 10 and 20 minutes.
Stay with the fish (it can change color, darker)

Keep notice of the breathing, if this comes below 20x per minut then set the fish back to the tank, this can be done straight out of the bucket.

When the fish is back in the tank color and breathing will change back to normal within 30 minutes.

I hope this will help you, I will give it a try tomorrow if the marks are not less.

    Hi Darth_discus

This marks can not be from intake, I will post a picture tommorow, then you see what I mean why it can't be from that.

    You're welcome mark.

I have treated the discus and it is allready gone for 80%, I am sure that over another 24 hours is completely cured.

When doing the salt dip, don't be surprised if your fish rolls over and floats to the surface.

And that's definately the time to remove them from the salt, and put them back into clean water
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P

Merrilyn has passed, but will not be forgotten - Goodbye dear friend
