    Ryans seafood mix(African cichlid mix)

    1kg Prawn meat, (veined)
    500g Scallops with Roe
    500g BABY spinich Litely boiled(untill soft)
    1/2 Lg Bright coloured capsicum
    2-3 pelled large carrotts (litely boiled)
    10-15 cubes misis/brine shrimp (your choice or u could do half and half)
    150g sprulina powder
    + add some vitamonds(spelling)

    Use ether a food processer or mincer and mince together a few times over... I use this recpie(Spellin) for my african cichlids

    Sounds like a good recipe. I'm sure all cichlids (even discus) would eat that.

    Yes discus LOVE it....i just dont feed beefheart to africans they dont seem to like it as much and it has WAY WAY to much protein for african cichlids, thats why i use my seafood mix

    More like they can't digest foods that have warm bloodied animal fats added.
