"Sterilising' plants before putting them into your tank

    Hi All,

Is there a way you can sterilise your plants to rid them of potential bacteria and parasites before putting them into your tank? I am going to purchase a few and don't want to risk introducing nasties!

    Cheers

Does anyone know where you can purchase Pottasium Permanganate?

I read the article grch36 referred to and find it interesting that it disinfects your nets - with 4 tanks I am always worrying about transferring diseases between tanks ( touch wood so far I haven't had any diseases, but you never know - better to be safe than sorry).,
