if you have to, I would go blue...
other than that, a sheet of foam is better as has been suggested previously...

if you were looking for a candy bar on the floor what would you prefer white carpet or black??
(Then again if there was a candy bar on the floor my dog would have got it first).
Also makes it easier for you too see how much waste there is..
