    cacatuoides or cockatoo dwarf

    Bought a male and female from SLS last weekend and thought I would update that these are a delightful fish that really come up to you (the girl is having a problem with working out the difference of poo and food which is funny).

    I think mine are still very very young, and look like those in the pictures shown in the below url

    My guys are very small and live in my bristlenose breeding tank, cause due to their size I am afraid they will be eaten by other fish however they should grow to a nice healthy size of about 9 - 10 cm.

    Great Fish those guys Dave, 3 weeks ago i bought 3 pairs of api agassizii's from SLS. nice fish too.
    I am yet to breed these guys, have you bred any dward cichlids before?
    Love any tips if you got any!

    No tips yet, but give me time they are my current project =) I love dwarf cichlides, very much, including keyholes (my pair I have found a welcome addition to a community tank, very friendly and oh so curious on whats happening especially during water changes).
