    discus tank setup

I have my new discus tank in a position where it is viewable from both sides (you can see through it from 2 rooms). I have artificial plants in the tank to provide hiding places for my discus but im afraid that over time being constantly viewed from both sides might stress my discus. Ive had them for 3 weeks now and they seem to be ok but just wondering what other peoples opinions on this might be.

My first post. Just joined today.

    Welcome.

As long as you have no one jumping in front of them, discus will get used to their surroundings as you have seen. What makes them jumpy is poor water quality, so keep up lots of water changes to get the best from your fish.

Three weeks is hardly enough time for them to settle into a new home. Depending on age & numbers, water quality & room interaction this might take a bit more time. Be patient & be consistent. "T:
