Dwarf Gouramis as tank mates
I'm wondering if dwarf Gouramis (3 being 2 x flame and 1 x blue) are suitable tank mates for Discus. They are currently living in my smaller tank whilst I set up the 400 litre and get the bio cycle happening. Won't be purchasing discus for another 8 weeks. I won't be able to keep the Gouramis in the smaller tank once set up as will be using it for my R/O // Bore mixture (aging process) for water changes. Wondering if I should keep the Gouramis or give them away once the Discus arrive?

Wrigglers
Hi Krissy,
From personal experience with gouramis, they can be nippy and aggressive. I would advise you not to put them with the discus. They are not one of the recommended fish to house with discus. So its a big no from me. Sorry

I like a nice shoal of small tetras, cardinals, neons. Just small and nothing aggressive.
