blue turquoise and blue diamond dark in color

Whenever my lights are on is when I notice it the most but my 2 blue discus are dark in colour. They are still eating and swimming normally. I have been told with my nitrate reading being 5.0 that they could just be a bit upset about that. I'm using good bacteria( stability) and on day 2 of using that. Been told not to do a water change as the good bacteria needs to grow in numbers. Any ideas? I have dealt with parasites before and I'm pretty sure it's not that. All other water tests are normal. Fish are only few to the tank also. The blue does come and go but mainly black and very dark.

How long has the tank been set up for? I ask as you're concerned about the good bacteria, which would only be an issue in an uncycled tank. I'd definitely be doing regular water changes.
