    Extremely bulged eyes overnight?

One of my discus got these extremely bulged eyes overnight. All the other 7 Discus in the main tank look fine and healthy. I am now quarantining him in a hospital tank and gave my a first dose of Maracyn two. Can you share your experience if you've ever treated or seen this? Last night I fed him and the was fine. This morning he was looking like this. The main tank still seems very healthy as usual. The water quality tests fine. Any Help/ tips to help me treat him? thanks!

Popeye is usually caused by a bacterial infection. I'd treat with antibiotics added to the water, and some antibiotic ointment applied to the eyes.

It seems to be a very severe case, so you may have to prepare yourself for the worst outcome.
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P
