    Water condition/changes

Hi all, I've just recently acquired a couple of pairs and would like to get them breeding. And I want to do it the right way, they are in 2x18x18 tanks with a sponge filter and a cone, getting fed beef heart mix, frozen brine shrimp and tetra bits.
But the big question I want to know is,what I should be doing with my water before I do my changes.
I'm doing daily changes of about 25% and I put the water in a bin adding supachlor and let it sit for 20 mins then do a w/c.
Is this ok or do I need to do more to my water.
Any advice or tips would be great.
    Cheers Marty

There are those far more qualified than I to comment here.

Illusn & Mr Wild both recommended that I age water for 24hrs prior to using it, which is what I do. I have heard some say straight from the tap is fine, however I'm guessing that would not hold true for larger changes (> 10%).

    Cheers,
    Scott
