Free swimming fry everywhere but on the parents????
As the title states the fry have become free swimming and only maybe 15 out of sixty are feeding on the parents, the rest are just swimming aimlessly around the tank. Some are obviously struggling on the bottom of the tank too.
It's a ninety litre tank with a sponge filter wrapped in white filter mat and lights on.
Any thoughts?

The pnly advice i can give is lower the water level to just above the height of the parents less area for them to get away from the parents

The sponge filter I'm using is too tall to do that and I don't have a smaller one which is seeded.

what colour are the fish? if the fish are red shine a blue light over the tank. if the fish are pale coloured there isnt much you can do. try introducing freshly hatched baby brine shrimp to the fry. you'd be suprised how quickly they take to it.
