    You know I'm technically challenged Jothy and have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about.

    I've just been advised that it is actually an LED light equivalent to a 300 watt globe. Does that make more sense LOL How come you're the only one who picked that up

    dvdrew, the plants are glued on to the golden vine. Bigger ones are tied on with stuff like fishing line.

    lol that better my 60w leds are equivilant to 400+w MH so i'm assuming yours is 35-50ish watts which should be fine just keep an eye on that alage

    its still a heap of light.

    I've got the lights on a timer for 8 hours a day. Should I maybe bring it back to 6 hours?

    leave it for now if you notice heaps of green spot algae on the glass or filementous algae on the plants/ wood cut it back

    Both tanks are due for a big trim Tommo. The growth has been amazing. I'll take some before and after photos this weekend.

    No co2. Just regular liquid ferts. Adrian chose plants that wouldn't need co2.
