i dont think to much would happen. black hair algae is so strong even allot of plecs and otto's wont bother with it. if you wanna get rid of it talk to the folks of G&S they have a working treatment!

Inspired by Myth busters ! Granted they need to be young and also an army of them, but they will eat black algae.
