Water analysis, ro/di required?
I'm moving from Newcastle in a couple of weeks and I want to avoid any surprises for my discus when we arrive in Campsie.
This appears to be Sydney Water's relevant analysis http://www.sydneywater.com.au/WaterQ...sHill_2011.pdf
The pH out of my tap in Newcastle is neutral, but it's reportedly higher in Sydney.
Should I be purchasing an ro/di unit before getting to Sydney or will I be probably be fine dechlorinating and ageing the water in barrels myself without extra equipment?
Thanks for any help, Ben.[/url]

you should be fine dechlorinating the water and maybe adjusting the pH down to neutral for the first few weeks.
if you can transport enough water down with you to 1/2 fill your tank and then you shouldn't have any issues.
