I've spawned fish in lots of different size tanks from an 18 inch cube to a standard four foot tank. It doesn't seem to make much difference, so long as you keep the water clean with frequent water changes. It's more important to have a decent size tank to raise the fry.

the best luck i ever had was with 2x2 x1.5 tall
your tanks should be fine just move on mum and dad as soon as they fry are on beefheartmix and BBS (bout 10 days to 3 weeks)

Check mine out in couple weeks when you come down I got around 50 tanks and 14 or so setup for pairs. Depending on the pair some like them tall and bit shorter. I had a pair that wouldn't keep fry until I put them in a taller tank = 500mm high. Most my breeding tanks are around 680 x 380 x 380 around 110 ltrs or so. Don't quote the measurements exact but they just over the 100ltrs.
