Not been around for a while - the reason

Just like to say hello to my friends here on the forum with my 2000th post.

I have been away from the forum for a while as some of you have noticed, so I thought I should show you why. Below are some photos of my beautiful son Vincent. He arrived 6 weeks early back in November 18th last year. My wife is a Filipina and lives in the Philippines in our house there. She was due on Christmas day, but after a small fall early in November she was suddenly rushed into hospital with bad stomach pains and bleeding. She was immediately taken for an emergency caesarian and Vincent arrived. He was put into an incubator where he stayed for 2 weeks.
I was in the UK at this time and got on the first available plane to Phils. Luckily both my wife and Vincent were ok when I got there, but it was very worrying as lines of communication suddenly stopped as no one had my phone number!!
I was able to stay in Phils for 2 months so I could look after my wife and our son and bond with him. It has been such a wonderful experience, I think anyone who has become a father for the first time will know exactly what I mean.
My little Vincent is now just over 4 months old and growing fast. I am going back to Phils at the end of April for several weeks so cannot wait for that.
The photos range from new born to the present. I hope you enjoy the photos,

    regards
    Steve (aka Hollowman)
