    lights

    Hi Im just curious when a pair have spawned is it necessary to leave a light on for them at night to look after the spawn..

    Chris, I leave a small light (not the main tank light) on all night for spawning pairs from the time eggs are laid, till the fry are two weeks old.

    I find this gives me better fry growth rate, as the fry will feed from the parents 24/7
