FINALLY - tank bred altums in Australia

And they're swimming in my tank

This is a little project I have been keeping under my hat for the last few months and finally it has happened.

Eight magnificent tank bred altums are finally swimming in my tank after being released from quarantine this afternoon. The fish are very healthy, well grown two year olds.

A very big thankyou to Ravi of Finland Aquarium for bringing these beautiful and rare fish into the country.

I believe this is the first time genuine tank bred altums have been imported into Australia ( no doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong).

    I'll post some photos tomorrow
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P

Merrilyn has passed, but will not be forgotten - Goodbye dear friend
