Thanks Kath. Check this out..
That mate of mine is doing something right. Here's a second pic he's just sent to me..
My Red Rose pair (female pictured) has spawned within the last couple of hours. The eggs are a bit hard to make out but they've laid on the glass in the corner of the tank.
That's my Sunset Beauty female in the background, he's putting a divider in the tank in the morning.
Exciting stuff... I just wish I could be there to enjoy it!

Great work
So happy news for you Swampy! Great to see that your Discus are all spawning! Nick from Sydney Discus World Aquariums also sold me two breeding pairs which have bred many times already
I suggest anyone who wants to breed discus pop down to his new store at Sydney Markets Plaza to have a chat.
Hope to see updates on the progress of you and your mate's fry.

Cheers guys!
I originally got the Red Roses from Nick - good bloke!
Like other stores, he has his days where the stock isn't always perfect due to being the last of a shipment etc, but the vast majority of my experiences with him have been excellent. I drive for over 2hrs from my place to get to his shop so that must be saying something

How ironic.... I'm in the Army and happen to be away on Ops as we speak.
The drive is worth it when you end up with specimens like this and Nick is always willing to give you his time, excellent service.
Cheers,
Swampy
