Peppermints & Albino LF BN Fry - Holiday Feeding

I'm going away Wed 25th Nov, not returning until the following Sunday evening. My daughter was going to come and stay and take on feeding duty, but something has come up and she can't do it now.

The sort of food they eat doesn't lend itself to auto feeders (they eat zucchini and wafers). For the week I am away, I could set up the auto feeder to feed them veggie flakes - is that my best option.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

just feed before you leave and feed when you get back 4 days with no food wont hurt them, make sure you have wood in the tank.

you could leave a big chunk of zuchini or pumpkin for them to chew on for a couple of days. they would also be fine without anything for that time

Would raw pumpkin makes less mess in the tank?

Hey Jothy, my friend who bought those peps from you. She has a new nick name for them.

She calls them " Minties "

    Thanks Matt

Yes I take zucchini seeds out too, but still find it makes a mess of the water if I leave it in too long. Here we are talking about 4 days. Would uncooked pumpkin make less mess in the water, if I leave it for that long?
