Oh, that is pricey. Especially when compared to the perth meeting. I'm depressed now, as I won't be able to afford to go after all.

yeah but this is a 2 day convention with many different speakers and includes food and drink. I thought maybe the NSWCS might have tried to get him for a talk. Is there a Discus Society in NSW, AUS ?

Hi guys,
this is Heiko Bleher and I just saw this thread.
I had to cancel in 2009 in the last minute so to speak the ANGFA Convenyion talks I had prepared, because I received an invitation for from the Iranian Fisheries to do research on freshwater in Iran and I had never bee, which naturally was an offer I was unable to refuse, a few photos of it:
Under EXPEDITIONS - on www.aquapress-bleher.com
also
http://www.aquapress-bleher.com/inde...&limitstart=10
and they had than already invited me again for a 2-day-seminars - a marathon, have alook:

But I will definitely come in October 2011 to the next ANGFA Convention in Brisbane with 3 lectures, and have canceled the other offers (even from China again) at that time.
The Perth Cichlid Association had me last year and want me again, and they wanted me to come after Brisbane to Perth, but I will be on a field trip after Brisbane in new Guinea and offered them to come after AQUARAM 2011 in Singapore, as it is a shorter flight (and cost the same as from Brsibane). Also the Wester Australian ANGFA group wanted me to come, but none has given me any confirmation as of today...
I just hope they come soon, as I am almost fully booked throughout 2012..
You all have a fantastic New Years entry, with health and happiness and great fishes, kept the natural way...
always
