    Sue's geo/angel tank..will I have issues

Hi all.. As some of you know I have been converting my 120 gallon 4x2x2 discus tank over to a geo/angel tank.. The current inhabitants are 6 baby orangehead geos, 6 baby (dime/nickel size) angels, my adult male koi angel and a school of 10 lemon tetras.. Lots of dw and sand..
The adult angel has been in the tank for quite a while but I did a total rescape before adding the geos etc. So far evryone is getting along fine. Do you think I will have any aggression issues once evryone starts to grow other than those once they start to pair off?? I am a bit concerned about the big angel and the smaller ones as they start to put on size..
Here are some lousy pics so you can see the setup..

    Thanks for looking... Sue

Hi... Just a quicl update.. sorry no new pics yet...
Everyone is still getting along great. The orangehead babies, well 2of them are already more than 2 inches and getting some bulk.. The angel babies are now all nickel size or bigger. The adult male angel sometimes shoos them out of his way but that's the only aggression to date.. Hopefully it will stay this way. More pics when the babies are big enough so you can see them in the photos LOL.. Sue

I know nothing about those types of fish, never having kept them - so will leave your aggression questions for others.

Have to say you have a stunning arrangement of driftwood in there. Looks great

Hi Just a quick update... I removed the lemon tetras... made the tank too busy, rehomed the adult koi angel as the babies were really bugging him and he really was to beautiful not to have a mate and make babies and added a pair of blue rams... The rams have already spawned in the tank and they "own the tank".. It is so funny to watch the orangeheads and angels (all at least twice the size of the little feisty rams) being "herded" into corners like a sheep dog would do. The rams take turns guarding the eggs and if anyone else dares to enter what they consider to be "their turf"... basically the whole tank.. they take turns herding them to their "designated" place in the tank.. Never underestimate the determination of a breeding pair of rams Sorry no pics of that... too hard for me to capture..
These pics were taken a week or so ago right after I added the rams.. I'm not the best at photography but these guys are just too cute.. enjoy.. oh the rams colors are real.. haven't figured out the photobucket system yet so don't know how to enhance anything .. Sue

So now the tank has 6 baby orangehead geos.. largest about 2 1/2 inches and starting to get orange on the face and lots of red and blue on the fins that doesn't show up in the photos, 6 baby angels..largest about quarter size and a pair of blue rams.

Hi there... Time for an update.. Please excuse the quality of the photos as my photo skills leave a lot to be desired and I really can't capture the beauty and colors of the fish as well as I would like too...

But first the tank has changed a bit..... Everyone has grown quite a bit.. The rams died eventually. The large koi angel was rehomed. I removed the rest of the plants as the geos sand sifting and digging around the plant roots for food made too much of a mess. So now the tank is home to 6 orangeheads,, the largest is about 4 inches and has small trailers already at about 8 1/2 months, and 6 angels, the largest is about 2 1/2 inches in body size not including the fins.. and so far everyone is still getting along great. The marbled angels have started to develop orange foreheads to compete with the orangehead geos LOL.
I tried to capture the colors of the fish rather than the perfect picture and threw in one just cause I liked the "artistic" look of it.
    Hope you enjoy. Sue

Hi the tank looks pretty good but I don't think those orange heads will

hassel your angels or the angels hassel the orange heads at the moment

not until when they are both full size and ready to breed thats when they

can get a bit agressive with each other.

Kepp the pics coming as you Orange heads grow
