what have you done
So mate what have you done so far!
This is always very difficult to diagnose over the internet.
So have you check all your tank paramters?
Is the fish breathing heavy?
Does it look a lot thinner than it should?
Is there any chance you low on oxygen in your tank?
Have you done anything different recently in your tank or in your water changing routine.
Can you see the colour of the gills?
I hope it pulls through for you.

Breeding tube
Hey,
Was jsut looking at the photo again.
Is that the fishes breeding tube hanging down there.
If it has just been breeding and its doing this than i would guess that the fish is just plainy stuffed! Maybe just laid a heap of eggs and is tired.
I had the scare of my life the other morning. I had one of my pairs raising about 200, 10 day old fry. I went out to my room to find one of the parents up at the top of the tank pushing itself hard up against the tank wall. The babies where having a field day eating off the parent while the other one just swam around watching. I quickly removed the fry and as soon as i did this the said fish swam to the bottom and laid on its side like this fish in your picture is doing. I turned up the water inlet to this tank added some salt, turned off the light and covered the tank with towel to make it a bit more darker in there as well as to give it some quite time.
1 hour later the fish was upright and eating and has some battered finage from the smorgassboard but now 3 days on is doing fine.
So the fish do go like this when they are tired by the looks of it so maybe that is it
