    ro water......ph

    my water straight out of my ro sits on a ph of about 7.5 after aging.....have been dropping this using hcl acid to 5.5. should i just leave it at 7.5.
    any replies would be appreciated.

    I wouldn't bother playing with it. Ph7.5 is just fine. Mine are in aPh 8.2 right now. Stability is better IMO

    pure water is notoriously hard to get an accurate ph reading on

    the unit has an adjustable tds meter on it. i set it to come out at 50ppm.
    the water is for my breeders

    I dont keep freshwater fish , i keep marines but when i buy my RO water i try and get it below TDS reading of 8ppm or less as my tap water has a TDS reading 27ppm. See if you can get it lower than 10ppm

    As for the P.H i am unsure, i would have thought it would be 7.0

    7.5 - 8.2 is a perfect range dont modify it.
