Anyone in Nth QLD. Dr Ursula Norton who works for GreenCross Vets in Townsville is a fish vet. She is also a degree qualified Aquaculturist (from UTAS) and has great experience with fish disease.

Petcetera Aquarium & Pets at 33 Blackwood Street, Mitchelton advertises 'Vet owned & operated'. Phone 3354 1966

Petworks at Great Western Shopping Centre (Cnr Samford & Settlement Rds, Keperra) has a biggish aquarium section and claims to have a vet on site. Phone 3351 7244

Haven't tried their vet services, just noticed they were located in an aquarium type setting. Have to admit I don't use vets much nowadays, since the last one traumatised my goats and nearly killed my cow.

The vets name is Geoff Little and the surgery he works at is at 576 Southpine Rd Everton Park ph: (07) 3354 1688

We take our dogs to him and I've had chats to him about fish and also metro and he was quite willing to prescribe it. I asked as a backup.

For those on the southside of Brissy the vet above Pet City as you drive in (will try and find the name) will dispense metro for fish use.
