    White spot on blue turq???

    Hi,
    i have just noticed a white spot on my blue turq and want to no if its a concern or not. I dont no if he has rubbed up against somthing, which has created it.What should i do???

    I could be wrong but it looks like a heater burn. However if your heaters have covers you can forget that answer.

    Yeah i have covers on the heaters so it cant be that, unless he has rubbed aginst the heater why it has been on.

    Any change over the last couple of days Axl?

    I have no idea what caused it but I think a good course of treatment would be to catch the fish and treat with some bettadine ointment (available from a chemist).

    Dry the area with tissue, apply the ointment, and gently return the fish to the water. The ointment should stay on for quite a while, at least a couple of hours.

    Re apply every day till the wound closes.
